Last night on Christmas Eve TX Gov Abbot sent asylum seekers to DC with no winter clothes or shelter. What "Christ like" behavior.

If only the Bible had a story of a mother fleeing tyranny w/her infant for refuge in a foreign land—maybe GOP would welcome refugees fleeing tyranny w/their kids for refuge in USA. Amazing how the same GOP extremists who demand the Constitution be based on the Bible, suddenly forget ever Biblical principle about serving humanity.

The dangerous hypocrisy of it all.

@QasimRashid They treat the Bible as they do everything else. They find excuses for aberrant behavior and ignore everything else. I actually saw a comment sewhere eleecently saying libs should look at what Jesus said about transsexuals. So what did he say? " Love thy neighbor as thyself." He did not say love only white heterosexual people. He said everybody.

@QasimRashid The "dangerous hypocrisy," resides in the truth that neither political party is willing to deal constructively with the other to pass workable, enforceable immigration policy because "immigration" is an effective wedge issue that stirs up the base of both parties garnering contributions, votes, and deep hatred but next to NO meaningful grassroots effort (outside of churches) to reduce the human suffering.
