I'm tired of the janky timeline on the mobile site. What #Mastodon android apps are out there that provide a better experience?

@PavelASamsonov If you're on Android, I'd recommend Tusky or Fedilab.

If you're on iOS, I'd recommend Metatext or tooot (the one with three o's).

Edit: Just read that you're on Android, oops

@LibreNyaa Oh yeah I should mention that I'm on android
@PavelASamsonov Ah, you did, I just misread it
@LibreNyaa I edited it so other people wouldn't have to click through to find out which (reply threading is also not the best on the site)
@LibreNyaa @PavelASamsonov I switched to Tusky, but it doesn't help with much. Same timeline, doesn't include linked posts... it's basically same as a vanilla client. Hard to spot any improvements.
@MarcinW There aren't many options that I know of other than those then, most apps stay fairly similar with the timeline but just add more UI.
@PavelASamsonov I have been using Mastoot for a couple weeks now. The dev is actively adding features too.
@PavelASamsonov I've been using @megalodon (an active fork of the official client) for a week or so and it's quite good
@PavelASamsonov If you’re on iOS “Toot!” is the best I’ve used so far imo. There are lots of good apps being tested in beta right now though and I look forward to @ivory

@PavelASamsonov I just switched to the Mastodon android client, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.joinmastodon.android

It's better than the mobile site as app?
