i've always found bicycling magazine to be cringe - but reviewing a $100,000USD truck is next level cringe #biketooter https://www.bicycling.com/bikes-gear/a42323231/ford-lightning-review/

From day trips to road trips, the Lightning is an amazing vehicle for living the bike life.

@seanmcarter This is, indeed, very depressing.

@seanmcarter also they appear to have been unable to fit bikes in the back, which is amazing since that's a thing they seem to think it's good for?

Yeah, totally nasty.

@seanmcarter honestly the best thing about this article is how bad the proofreading is. Especially the sheer number of times it says "Lighting" instead of "Lightning" 😭
@seanmcarter I'm hoping that my credit card expiring will cancel my Bicycling magazine subscription because it seems to be the easiest way.
@mfenniak @seanmcarter my BuyCycling magazines kept coming for about 3 years after I cancelled and my credit card changed. They sell advertising based on how many mags get sent out, so they are pretty "generous". Tania started getting People magazine in February, though she has never bought one, nor a subscription, nor does she want one.
@seanmcarter
i read it for the novelty. All kind of otherworldly to me.
I cringed mostly, though, at his repeated misspelling of "Lightning." 🤪
