For everyone sitting in the 8+ hour #AlaskaAirlines hold queue, here's a little secret to make your holiday worse: their MVP frequent flier line has a callback system. Their standard reservation line does not.

You're waiting on hold for entire day because they CHOSE to make you do that.

First time since I left twitter that I wish I were there. This would go viral and frankly they deserve it.
@ct_bergstrom the Complaints Department aspect of Twitter won't soon be replicated elsewhere

@ct_bergstrom yup. It would serve Elon right if the only thing his precious website was used for was complaining about brands who don’t advertise there anymore.

One alternative: I’ve had good luck complaining in a brand’s Reddit.

@ct_bergstrom Yes, on a couple occasions I found Twitter to be a useful venue for shaming large corporations into doing the right thing. Maybe Mastodon will get to that point eventually.

...or another proof that the #BlueBird site is specially well taylored for negative emotions, and/or outrage.
@ct_bergstrom I remember being in United's Premier program for a few years when I flew a reasonable amount (not even that much). My wife said, how do we ever go back? We were in a 100-person line at an airport and I called the premier 800#. “Leave the line right now and go to gate X and they will have a ticket for you." They did.

@ct_bergstrom

Have you thought of filing a complaint with the DOT?

@ct_bergstrom I miss Virgin America so much.
@ct_bergstrom If you'd wish, I could cross-post the information on the BIRD site. Granted, I don't have the follower reach you have (had), but figured I'd offer as a courtesy to other fliers who may be stranded.
@ct_bergstrom Do it. Just because you're not letting Twitter use YOU and more, doesn't mean YOU can't use IT.

@ct_bergstrom

"Your call is important to us…"

Was never the case.
