Currently on a flight and found out that I have free WiFi to check my favorite mastodon timeline πŸ™Œ

Who knows some good #cardgames or small #boardgames playable on planes? ✈️

Looking forward to your recommendations! ✌️

@Benjamin Palm island
Gotta check those games out in the coming days πŸ‘
Thanks for the recommendations @Suzan, @iain and @peterdrake πŸ™Œ

@Benjamin @Suzan @iain @peterdrake Cheeky Monkey works pretty well. Each person needs room for a stack of poker chips while you pass the draw bag back and forth.

For a dice game, Roll Through the Ages: Bronze Age doesn't take much space.

And then there's all the roll-and-writes like Welcome To. Those would be perfect for air travel.

@Benjamin Schnapsen is a 2 player trick taking traditional card game that works really well in small spaces as it only uses a few cards.

@Benjamin You've probably landed by now, but this would probably work on the tray tables:

The Mind would also work.

@Benjamin I've played 4 player games of Mystery Rummy (it's a little messy) and Royal Turf (works really well) on the train
@Benjamin another vote for Palm Island. You hold the cards in your hand so you don’t need to worry about having enough space on the little tables.

@Benjamin

We played Palace over Thanksgiving.

@Benjamin 6 Nimmt works as long as you dedicate one tray table to the 4 columns of cards and people can reasonably see them (so, like 4 or 5 people max). 2p stuff, roll and writes are ok as you use the box top for a dice tray.
@Benjamin Cat Crimes, Dog Crimes, Maiden Quest, Palm Island... These four need little to almost no space to play, specially Palm Island
