Seriously Prime Minister, this laziness of language and removal of national identity from "English-only" agencies is very disrespectful of all the nations on these islands.

It denies the separate existence of England and, by extension, suggests Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland can be legitimately described as "English".

@NationCymru I used to wonder if politicians saying/doing stupid things were actually stupid or playing some sophisticated mind game that peasants like me didn't understand. It's becoming clearer every day, they really are stupid.

It's either lazy and stupid, or part of a strategy to erode the culturally rich and diverse national identities and heritages of these islands for some nefarious reason. For all his faults, I'm not sure Sunak is stupid...
