@elonmusk @[email protected] The ‘official’ #Mastodon website (mastodon.social) doesn’t seem to support this, and nor does the official’ Mastodon application for Apple iOS… Or is it just a user error? I wasn’t going to add the check mark , and then I thought, “Why the hell not?” At the very least, it’s a fun way to poke fun at #Twitter … 😉
@elonmusk @[email protected] I found the custom #emoji, but it looks like #Mastodon doesn't offer the #Twitter #Verified "blue check" / "blue tick" as a custom emoji... It (Mastodon) *does* support emojis in one's profile though, so that's a start. Hey, @Mastodon - can you please add the Twitter Verified "blue check" / "blue tick" as a custom emoji?

Any instance admin can add any number of custom emoticons; that's up to your instance admin, not the project code maintainer.

Unless you're campaigning for that to be added to the base distribution -- and even then you would then be waiting on your instance admin to upgrade.
