Elon Musk is Still Silencing the Journalists he Banned from Twitter.

It looks like our accounts have been reinstated, but it's an illusion: We're actually locked out and can't post anything without deleting specific tweets the billionaire doesn't like.

Elon Musk Is Still Silencing the Journalists He Banned From Twitter

To you, it looks like Musk unblocked journalists like me. It’s an illusion: The truth is that we are still locked out of our accounts.

@micahflee @drewharwell @MattBinder @w7voa @tony Sure would be cool if all the rest of the real journos out there would have y'all's back and leave that place en masse.
@plurality @micahflee @drewharwell @MattBinder @w7voa @tony Having to rebuild a follow is what keeps everyone there obviously. I think the spoiled child will break his toy if he wants to.
@So @plurality @micahflee @drewharwell @MattBinder @w7voa @tony
As people keep streaming away that follow will crumble as anyway. I have a list of journos I followed on tw. I watch for them to open accounts on mastodon and follow and boost them. I just checked a few min. ago, found 2 with 6 wk old accts, no activity. Followed anyway
@So @micahflee @drewharwell @MattBinder @w7voa @tony I get it. I left in April after the sale was agreed to and it was a much harder choice than I would have liked, but ultimately it was necessary. The company he got was tangential. The real assets he acquired were the users and I refuse to be "owned" by a person like him.
@So @plurality @micahflee @drewharwell @MattBinder @w7voa @tony but they are going to have to rebuild at some point. Putting it off is just ostriching
