Some thoughts on engagement on this site:

1) If you like something, like it—click that star. Just do it!

2) If you think others would like what you like, find interesting what you find interesting, etc., boost it—click that little two arrow thing. Just do it!

3) If you have a comment then add your comment—click that bent arrow thing (or thought bubble thing?) and write something. Just do it!

4) Share a lot of your own stuff: Ideas, observations, experiences, media, art, etc. Just do it!

@tuckerteague Thanks, no I have Shia Labœuf yelling: "Just do it!" in my head 😅
@tuckerteague That’s 1, 2 and 3 done. 4 later. 😂

@tuckerteague This toot gave Big "Electric Company"💡Energy, and I loved every moment of it.

@tuckerteague I’ve been on only for 20 min and I already like this way better than twitter
@kotalkahn Welcome! I still have a twitter account and I pop over there once in a while to check it out. There are a few accounts I follow there that I want to check on. It's night and day. There is a feeling there that strikes me now of a simmering hostility or angst of sorts. I can't quite put my finger on it, and I only kinda saw it before. But now I see it because I'm mostly here and it's very different; more friendly, more like what social media should be.
@tuckerteague two things I noticed right off the bat here is that there is more high quality conversations going on here, and the other thing is that you actually get replies from people here.

@tuckerteague
Well said.

And use #Hashtags.

#NoFullTextSearch here, so very important. Can search 🔍 then for posts/people that you find interesting.

@tuckerteague I knew a lady once who had developmental disabilities, but lived a good life full of quotes and misquotes. She always said (when she wanted to finagle her way) "To HAVE a friend you need TO BE a friend!"

For here, I'd say just engage with people and posts.
