Today has involved a lot of crying & anxiety, 3 trips to the vet, and some #viola practice.

Fangh bun had been drooling the last couple of days & he was getting depressed. His abscess was making it difficult to eat.

Today, he had to have an operation to lance the abscess as much as possible. But with him being old at 9 years old, he was extremely high risk. I am relieved to say he gor through it OK & he is home now. But being a #rabbit recovery over the next couple of days is also high risk.

Just pleased to have my fluff ball home. I need him to be immortal.

#Viola practice went pretty well today. Need to work on tone, but I actually think a lot of the sound I'm not keen on is down to the strings. They're too brash for my liking, I think.

I also need to shorten my nails. Although I was able to play fine, it'll be easier with shorter nails.

@JurassNic Oh I didn’t know you were learning the viola! That’s a departure from the brass

@purplepadma Kinda just going back to, rather than learning. I did my music degree on viola. Brass was just easier to get back into on an ensemble level cos of brass bands being rooted in communities. But I played violin in brass band (a piece needed it) & I realised I desperately miss playing strings.

Still in my brass band (for now- there's huge drama throwing everything into disarray) though. Love being in the band. But playing viola today was so right, so natural to me.
