@SuprmomcatCathy @Garwboy thank you for this ... in one year i lost both my parents and both my dogs and it still feels like there's a stigma against equating the losses - i feel what i feel and should be able to express it without shame or embarrassment - losing my dogs was harder on me - the one dog i was closest to i loved (and still love) at least as much as any other living being i've ever known - we had what i can only describe as a telepathic connection
