It's always #DNS. The first image is from a few weeks ago. I had just migrated my network from a SOHO device that I purchased a few years ago to get rid of my ISP provided SOHO. I installed a new USG from #ubiquiti. For some reason though, my #pihole logs were showing significantly fewer requests. Figured out #android wasn't obeying DNS Options if I had secondary and tertiary DNS entries. Eliminated 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 and I get the second photo.
This is essentially back to the results I had where the old SOHO was pointed to #pihole for the upstream DNS. It only had the ability to choose a single DNS entry, but this wasn't handed out via DHCP to the devices. It ensured complete compliance but gave me no visibility to the network. Glad to have this gap closed since I wanted to feel like a "real" IT person and run a more sophisticated network at home.
