Look, I know navel oranges aren’t the easiest to peel, and some people think there’s too much white fiber. But the taste is unbeatable. Tangy and sweet in the perfect ratio. Nobody said good fruit was easy. #worthit
@sbarolo Occasionally, I’ll buy several organic oranges. Remove the seeds, put everything else into the blender. EVERYTHING, including the peel. Use the resulting pulp as the ‘liquid’ for bread dough, instead of water or milk. (No sugar added, not needed.) This part you’ll have to do by feel, because the pulp throws the volume/weight calculation off. But it’s doable if you’ve made bread before. The result is a surprisingly lovely loaf of bread. #BreadBaking

@sbarolo I got the idea from a friend from India on Facebook. I HAD to try it once he told me about it. :-) Flour (100% whole grain), the citrus pulp, salt, levaine (yeast or sourdough). It works really well!
