I've always enjoyed the #FunWithFlags segments on #TheBigBangTheory.
I'm confused here. The link takes me to a page with the same image as shown, but I see no accompanying "story" as to WHY they are similar.
The next few posts also appear to be Images of flags with no "stories."
Am I doing something wrong? Or is it just pictures?
@BlippyTheWonderSlug I suggest Googling any country pairs you want to learn more about. You're not doing anything wrong.

Marius Catalin@conradhackett When Chad achieved independence in 1960 Romania had the Coat of Arms of the Socialist Republic of Romania in the middle of the flag.However, in 1989, the coat of arms was removed entirely after the revolution which overthrew communism and the two flags became very similar. Romania had used this flag starting 1866 with different coat of arms till 1989 when it was removed entirely.

vasis@conradhackett Aren’t there much more? Finland, Sweden, Denmark almost same design with color changes, add contours get Norway and Iceland, etc. Also Norfolk İsland / Nigeria; Add Monaco to Indonesia /. Poland group…
