@TerryHancock @atomicpoet I'm impressed by Hive's ongoing success, given the security nightmare it was shown to be.

@oblomov @TerryHancock @atomicpoet Hive is a product aimed at Apple and the iOS user.

Their exit strategy is to be bought by Apple as a controllable Twitter alternative.

The Hive user is not concerned by security, sustainability or safety. They are concerned by familiarity and usability. Hence the iOS app is supposedly great. The android app I'm told very much less so.
