@meganknight @aravosis yes, I agree that the consequences of the Berlin Wall going up was terrible for generations of millions of people and the effects are still with us. But, i doubt most tech people know the context & just see a guy escaping from something. For me, i don’t equate the situations, I just thought it was a clever use of a famous historic photo.

Errr... I lived in Berlin in the 1960's when this picture was taken. I'd like to suggest that using it in a joking or humorous manner is kind of bad taste and insensitive. The Berlin Wall caused a great deal of suffering for a great many people. Few would think it a proper subject of humor.
