@coloradotravis yeah I know you had a ton of trolls and it was getting fairly annoying. They all stayed with Lord Elmo. Honestly, I'm feeling the vibe is better here. TWTR always had this serious chip on shoulder attitude. Mastodon feels a bit like pre TWTR FB message boards except with the newer board tech. So far so god for me. More fun here.
toddmantell@coloradotravis it was really disappointing yesterday seeing some Fintwit accounts compare Mastodon to Parler or Truth Social for lefties. Like just because they're not willing to understand the difference doesn't mean there isn't one.
They are free to bend the knee if they so desire, I suppose.
I find it distasteful and will not be doing that.
