Seriously tho, they're gonna boot so many accounts, and such a large fraction of them are not going to return, it's gonna put rocket fuel under all the other platforms.

Other than actually pulling the plug on the servers, I'm not sure I could come up with a faster way for Twitter to end itself than annihilating the content creators' ability to use that platform and link out to any other sites.

Elon Musk was always a visionary jerk, bad boss at SpaceX, Tesla. But it won't work at Twitter.

Elon Musk has used the same playbook at all of his companies from Tesla to SpaceX. Sadly for him, his model will cause Twitter to go down in flames.

Independent of what one thinks of the events described (I don’t have an opinion) it’s important to note:

1. It happened *over two years ago*

2. He’s being goaded by Andressen, fellow wealthy mad hatter

3. These bans are universally done in line with the political views/rage of a very specific demographic

Ugly stuff. He’s simply turning into the Red Queen very, very publicly.
