Here it is. My first ever post on Mastodon. I wanted to make sure I got off on the right foot here, so I’m including a “Cat Pic” as my offering to the Social Media Gods. We shall see if they are appeased.
Bruno eyes a beautiful glass ornament from his perch 2/3rds off the way up our Christmas tree. There are no more glass ornaments in our tree, he got 3 later that night. The rest went back in the box.
Let’s just say, I’m early for next week’s #Caturday.

@GardenerPodcast He’s beautiful! Our labs Lily (Chocolate) & Sadie (Black) passed within a year of each other a couple of years ago. We’ll probably be dogless for a while. Bruno is not a fan and our lives are way too hectic right now.

Oh my dog, they are so precious. I've never had a Chocolate lab - only a yellow - and now Mr. Max.

I totally understand how much work they are.
Most days Max and I walk the woods for at least an hour.

@MrFarland Hi, Don. I am not the D&D /board gamer in my family. That would be my SIL. I do have an IT tech background and am setting up a Minecraft server for my 7yo grandson. He has been playing the game for going on three years now. I spend a lot of time helping and playing with him, and he is already using the command line. I am new to Mastodon as well, so know few people here yet. Pleased to meet you.

@nclee Cute Cat. We used to have a Gentle Giant but we lost him to Cancer in his 18th year. We had to get those three cats to replace him

@nclee Great time with him. We paid $1000 to try and save him, and worth every beer can we had to pick up to pay for it (just kidding) was pricey but we were worried a BIG senior cat with cancer might not be strong enough.. But he made it through surgery, 3 more months on his 9th life, like a kitten again, doin' things, fishing, boating, chilling on hot days.. but then, the tumor came back and it was going to starve him to death. He (as every cat) had the best life possible. All our cats rescues
