@jennycohn Here’s what I know: Flynn was Trump’s Plan C for J6 after both Milley (Plan A) and Barr (Plan B) refused to participate. Michael’s brother Charles was installed at the Pentagon to prevent any mobilization of the National Guard or the military. Michael, along with Sidney Powell and Ali Alexander, provided all the QAnon rednecks to cover for Stone’s hit teams who entered the Capitol in stack formation. Flynn was actually selling “J6” Q merch on the Ellipse on both J5 and J6.

@jennycohn Trump’s Plan A was for General Milley to use the military to seize control of voting sites, equipment and ballots. Recall that in October 2020, Milley put out a bizarre statement, that the US Military would not be involved in the election.

Plan B was for Attorney General Barr to enforce martial law using DHS agents and military contractors, like the stormtroopers we saw staged on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Barr refused and was forced to resign in December 2020.

@jennycohn Just three days after Barr’s resignation, Plan C (or Q, as it were) was hatched during two White House meetings on December 18 and 20, 2020.

Flynn and his attorney Powell convinced Trump they could mobilize his QAnon base to storm the Capitol, providing a spectacle for the cameras and tactical cover for the actual hit teams, who would be ushered into the building through specified gates by Capitol Police insiders.

Michael’s brother Charles was a key player in this plot.

@jennycohn Lt. Gen. Charles Flynn was at the time Deputy Chief of Staff of the US Army, but was made Trump’s political operative and was later awarded a fourth star and the cushy command of our Pacific forces.
Flynn’s name was mysteriously left off the J6 call logs when martial law was discussed, but CNN later reported that Flynn was in the room and on those calls, making decisions to thwart any military response.
The Pentagon’s IG (Col. Matthews) later lied to Congress about Flynn’s role on J6.

Here’s the scene that sticks with me, even today:

We all watched domestic terrorist Ashli Babbitt bleed out from the neck on a gurney that afternoon. Shortly after, video surfaced of the moment she was shot by Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd, through a broken window outside Pelosi’s office.

But what got me was the shock and surprise expressed by a rioter standing next to her body. “Why did you shoot her?!” He screamed it in a way suggesting he thought gunfire was never part of Q’s Plan.
