These salaries are crazy.
@jasonelrod what’s the knowledge base that junior pentesters need? Thinking about shifting from full stack development.

Current tech - JavaScript c# python sql
Cloud - Azure/gcp
Background - digital content creation video/motions graphics

I’ve messed around with metasploit but never really got too into it. Interested in selenium.

I'm not sure what the job reqs for the jr pen tester role are. Best bet is to reach out the recruiter directly to get those (I edited the original post to include their email contact information after getting their approval).

As far as the salaries are concerned, I think it is all relative. I am a big believer in compensation transparency as i think it helps set the expectations better for applicants (what you could get based on experience and qualifications) and also supports organizational conversations around pay equity with existing employees and HR.
