@donieosullivan my problem here is this: yeah, to the people “connected” to social media, and how it works, Twitter is on its freefall, BUT, to the majority to the people, and major companies, it is still Mainstream, it is still a megaphone; and it is so well-connected, that it will take a while for there to be a significant shift. And I fear more harm coming our way :(

@donieosullivan Unfortunate headline wording. I understand the need to hedge. I also remember 2016 when news outlets hedging arguably aided a political candidate by not clearly calling out lies. It sounds more like CNN wants to continue to be in the good graces of powers that be so they can keep their #Twitter followers and that's a problem when motivations appear to cloud a story.
