It was a magnificent achievement by @DingleGAA to win @Kerry_Official Co. Senior Championship for the first time in 77yrs. They then went on to win @MunsterGAA & All Ir. titles - éachtanna dochreidte. In Kerry the Co. Champs nominate the Captain of Kerry team & so , #Dingle nominated the magnificent Paul Geaney . & as a result the romance & history .Last Sunday @fitzgeraldstad , Kerry claimed the provincial crown! So the new ‘canister’ in honour of the supreme legend , Páidí Ó Sé , was presented to Paul by his son , Páidí Óg , Páidí Ó Sé’s , grandfather & Paul’s father in law . History & Football rhyming! Iontach ar fad !

Revisiting Dingle Batch 006, Irish Single Malt Whiskey.

Port cask, 46.5%—and not quite how I remembered it. Fruit and jam on the nose, but the palate leans dusty and savoury now… cocoa, crackers, and drier overall.

Storm Brewing Over Dingle

Dingle Marina sat there looking calm and civilised. Boats were tucked in, masts upright, everything in order while the sky overhead threatened rain and hid any chance of a sunset from my vantage point.

Luckily, it didn’t rain. The sky just got darker and darker as the sun slipped further around the Earth. The low cloud was not illuminated by the magnificent sun as it descended so I made do with what I had.

Low Cloud Over Dingle

Low clouds lay over Dingle town on Friday evening but while it wasn’t the most exciting light, it had a lovely even light without deep shadows. It was a quiet evening with only a few people out walking their dogs and even a couple of tourists!
