They don't get paid and the #TwitterMigration has increased the cost of hosting a server. Every time EM does something moronic, there's a sudden influx.

Be kind, be patient. Your server may have another slowdown as we're all online and more people are signing up. Give your admin some time.

@tombarkas @Snoweider It just means the name of your instance. Mine is mstdn.social, yours is mas.to. Those are actual URLs, you can look up any instance on the web even if itā€™s not yours.

Is that what youā€™re asking?

@tombarkas sorry for confusion! It seems for some instances if you type in the name of server/about it takes you right there, when I type https://mstdn.social/about it takes me straight to the About page.
