Kyle@juddlegum One of the things Twitter was really good for was getting breaking news and information as things were happening. Rupar was a major source of information, providing direct video clips that were often at the base of longer chains of retweets discussing what was in the video. He was someone who gave that place value.

No interactions with people who don't opt in to the interaction. If you mention another user, they must either follow the bot, or they must've started the interaction themselves.
So if I tag @nitterbot on someones post, the bot can't reply to that post with a mention of the original user? So this would make i.e. threadreaderapp not allowed
@yuletide Yeah, bot probably doesn’t work. Browser plugin might: fix/nix all twitter links internet-wide for those who want it.

David@juddlegum What the reporters wrote is no different from what's written in the New York Times or Washington Post Twitter account. If the reporters can be banned for the tweets. the Twitter accounts for the media companies can be banned also.
