@caninebrainsproject @lauveri Speaking as a former guide dog user who has been totally blind all her life, I have a question. Do guide dog users have a firmer connection or bond with their dogs than most pet owners seem to have?

@EJGilbert @lauveri That's a very interesting question that should be researched more! One study has found similar attachment behaviors in guide dogs and pet dogs (https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0168159105004211?casa_token=lfsdsqrVmmYAAAAA:cyRGg9_grCMsX-GcAdmshKdZlaTD15TzY1g2veKOHqygzDkZb-mBN-0aOfO8nbaZu2gIH6jcfLE).
