We all have too many meetings.

Seriously though. Before you send that meeting invite…ask yourself two things:

1. Do I have an agenda?
2. Could this meeting be an email instead?

If you don’t provide an agenda in your invite, it’s probably not important enough for others to attend. 😁

Agreed. I know I look forward to strings of back to back to back meetings and no time to get anything else done in the day...

To balance this with the flood of emails we receive, what have you found to be the rough length of an email thread before deciding it should switch to a meeting? Is it more of a dynamic call based on whether or not it looks like folks are going in circles?

@kriv I think it boils down to if a decision is being made or not via email. This is hard to determine sometimes. I think we all just let email threads get out of control until someone says "hey, let's sort it out on a call". IMHO important discussions need to be either on a call or video chat because written words sometimes do not convey thoughts or feelings like they do in a voice conversation. Don't get me started about text messaging...😆
