Just a reminder that flying lemurs exist and they are called colugos and have an expression that seems to suggest that you just told them something SCANDALOUS.
@everywhereist um Geraldine that may need to be my new reaction photo when I read something that caused my eyes to widen and jaw to drop
@SarahOestreich I usually use this pic of a statue I took in Copenhagen but the colugo is giving it a run for its money.
@everywhereist thank you. I needed that
@everywhereist
Omg, is that ever adorable!
@JennyD isn't it??? I love them.
@everywhereist culogos or colugos are great - they've been referred to as the non-flying non-lemur :)
@anathema_device they're the 7Up of lemurs!!!
@everywhereist Either that or they just realized Ignorance & Want live under the robes of Christmas Present and we should beware them
@everywhereist So I’m midway through Niven’s “Mote in God’s Eye” and holy shit if these things don’t look like the way he describes the Moties
@everywhereist Thanks,😂 that strongly improved my day. Laughing always improves things.

@everywhereist This one I saw in Singapore looks more curious than scandalous. 🙂

P.S. They are not lemurs, of course. They have their own branch in the mammal family.

@everywhereist
To me it looks like my grandmother, who was quite disappointed in me, lol.
@everywhereist Hooray, you made it to Mastodon! I haven’t seen your very entertaining posts for a while now!
@everywhereist Oh Em Gee, they make sloths look like sea elephants. Unless we can keep a lid on this, I'm going to need to rethink my whole persona.
