@audiobooks @bookstodon @HagaBaudR8 it really is. I like that the author went for not all humanoid. I just read a free short story that was the same… not everything is humanoid. Like I get that it’s just EASIER (especially for tv/movies) to go with humanoid but people are complaining about it a lot so I’m glad authors aren’t responding.

@LadyOzma @audiobooks It’s #1 on my wishlist. I have to wait until my bills clear before diving into what is left over. I have been jonesing for a new book. I am currently rereading the Bartimaeus trilogy by Johnathan Stroud. I need something fresh. ❤️

@LadyOzma @audiobooks uuggh My county doesn’t have it 🥺 Neither Libby or Overdrive can find the title. I will read this book eventually. I might have time next week to walk to the library and risk a late fine next month. Totally worth it. If they have it. I do live in the middle of nowheresville.

@HagaBaudR8 @audiobooks if you live in nowhere see if your area has a bonus library. Like Georgia US has a rural library on Libby that’s amazing.

@LadyOzma @audiobooks Yeah. I did. We suck out here. Also, on a side note not related to this string. The names of a few business chain stores out here can get pretty spicy. We have a gas/convenience store chain called Cum & Go. Can you believe that $#!+?! Boner Ranch, Dirty Annie's, and I swear to Zues himself; Jack’s Hole. At least this town has a sense of humor.
