Here’s my #bookishadvent for today! This is a #scifi #space #cozy #mystery. Yes there’s a #dinosaur member of the #spaceship crew. There’s an AI. The ship is small, the crew is vaguely misfits, there’s a horrible ex, & the captain is a woman. This cover & title made me laugh & I liked the idea of a sci-fi cozy. It was a fun #book & I fell in love with the crew. I #read this #ebook, then listened to the 2nd as an #audiobook. @bookstodon @audiobooks

@audiobooks @bookstodon @HagaBaudR8 it really is. I like that the author went for not all humanoid. I just read a free short story that was the same… not everything is humanoid. Like I get that it’s just EASIER (especially for tv/movies) to go with humanoid but people are complaining about it a lot so I’m glad authors aren’t responding.

@LadyOzma @audiobooks It’s #1 on my wishlist. I have to wait until my bills clear before diving into what is left over. I have been jonesing for a new book. I am currently rereading the Bartimaeus trilogy by Johnathan Stroud. I need something fresh. ❤️

@HagaBaudR8 @audiobooks not to enable you or anything, but I know in a lot of states in the US there are reciprocal libraries so you can have multiple cards. Also try to get a card that also gives you hoopla. :) idk where you are located but see if your location has multiple libraries. If not, google. Some will allow you to pay for a card.

@LadyOzma @audiobooks LMAO enable away! But regrettably, since I moved to the center of Wyoming away from the bright lights, big city life. Things are WAY slow and borderline backwards in my neck of the endless valley planes. My county just has one library and doesn’t have a connection to hoopla yet. Even movie releases take a few months to get here after they hit the national theaters. I will check google though.
