How to break #cars that drive in a bus-only lane! #Netherlands #satisfying
Ah! So it’s dis thing!
@stux we need a bunch of these in #Ottawa
@johnefrancis
I'm afraid American size pick-up trucks would have no problem with a #bussluis like that
@stux
@Joris @stux North American pickups don't have the track width of a city bus. It won't be a fun ride.
@stux ik dacht al dat lijkt me niet die horrorbollard uit den Haag, want dat is gewoon zo'n paal
@aetios @stux De Bilt, Blauwkapelseweg, vlak voor de Biltse Rading
@stux
That's guaranteed to wreck your oil pan. Sinister, bordering on evil. I like it.

@stux The driver in me is saying "that's pure evil."

The civil engineer in me is laughing his ass off. 😆

@stux you just need a hummer v1 🤣
@stux I love that it has an built in oil drain
@stux Concrete damage = cracked oil pan. Someone wasn’t pleased, based on some of the graffiti!
@stux Ho-ly 🐄!! Who in their right minds would build a thing like that?!? 🤪
@stux Brilliant! *(That would tear the gas tank right out of my Ford E150 wheelchair van!)
@stux OH thats grate! (think about it)
@stux that's a super cool piece of infrastructure
@stux brilliant and what idiots to drive over it.
@stux hope SUV loose against them ;-)
@stux Nothing like a good ol’ sump buster.
@stux That's a definite wow!
Where I used to work had rising bollards on the car park (including the exit to protect against car theft) and a few cars were wrecked by people (usually visitors) tailgating.
The drivers tended not to be too happy about it

@stux yeah, it's a passthrough car barrier...

Tho these are uncommon compared to electrically moveable blockades due to hindering EMS, fire brigades as well as police cars & -motorcycles
