Six panels, each displaying the same pattern of small circles/dots.

1. Data: simply the dots.
2. Information: the dots are now coloured in: some are green, others blue-grey.
3. Knowledge: a network of lines connects the dots.
4. Insight: two dots, at opposite sides, are highlighted in yellow.
5. Wisdom: a path joining the two highlighted dots is now also highlighted.
6. Conspiracy Theory: everything after stage 2 has been removed and replaced with a crude drawing of a unicorn.

I would love a confirmation on the author (I found only half the image on the website you linked to - did he add to it, did someone else?).
I teach students how to research (and why they should) and this is perfect for the course.
But since I ask them to always check and mention the source....

(and image search gives no definitive answer on the author and multiple versions for the second half)

@tgs From the kaballah. Insight is Kether. Wisdom is chokhmah. Conspiracy theories are the qlipoth of binah- understanding.
Qlipoth are the antithesis of their respective sephira, so, in terms of the kabbalah, the qlipoth of Bina is misunderstanding.
So conspiracy theories arise from misunderstanding.
