@ilumium @pallenberg @Gargron @pixelfed what's keeping me back a bit trying out hosting pixelfed is that you probably have to worry much more about storage space. I feel for the many admins out there who try to do something good for the community but at the same time see the hosting bills increase significantly. I hope their communities can chip in and support them.

@michael @pallenberg @Gargron @pixelfed True. I would expect Pixelfed-Servers to be smaller communities on average for that reason. But maybe paid services like it's done at @digitalcourage might also be a solution.
