@ScottSutherlandScienceWriter There's absolutely ZERO science behind this recent trend of 'meteorological' seasons starting on the first of December, March, June, and September. As far as I can see it is sheer laziness by meteorologists so that their seasonal statistics can be compiled more easily from monthly data.
