Well, I guess I'm looking for work again! Force reductions just before Christmas. 5 years of service, big features built and released, internal awards won, and it all ends with a Zoom call. Awesome.

@Redflycatcher I'm approaching it as the idea that your identity is composed of assertions about you made by other parties, and that those assertions should be collected and held by you, to be presented to other parties when you choose - potentially as credentials or resolved predicates.

I recently worked on interop with Microsoft, Ping, IBM, Workday to standardize wallets and protocols for exchange of W3 Verified Credentials. Also did the first JSON Web Proofs impl: https://github.com/gabrielbauman/jwp4j

@gabrielbauman Is this really a problem for you in Canada? Over here in Germany we have a huge lack of devs/engineers and related jobs . The market is currently really favouring employees, feels a bit like employers have to apply, not the other way round.

@gabrielbauman wishing you all the best, happened to me years ago as a single mum of one, no savings and thoughts of Xmas were depressing. Until one of the guys turned up, he had a boot full of toys and food for us! The guys had a whip round and sorted it, because they knew how unfair it was. 6 months later the company begged me to return, but I was caring for a sick relative by then.
