What makes a good item description? How have you brought items alive in your games?
I've been inspired a lot by Fromsoft's methods lately - but it always seems curious to me that their descriptions happen from a kind of limited omniscience.
I've been really curious especially about intentionally inserting a subjective perspective into descriptions - making them come from a character (or from a small range of characters) to emphasize their being embedded in the fiction.
