Children with fevers, cough, sore throat, abdominal pain, vomiting. Patients missing weeks of work, weeks of school. They've never been so sick for so long. Local classrooms closed because of staff absences. Some of you say I'm "disgusting," should resign. In my opinion, #MaskUp.

@nilikm a woman in my building has been very ill for 2weeks. Her doctor told her to do a rapid test but neglected to tell her that one test does not mean you are negative. This information has to get out. People don’t want to know.

Since colds, flu, RSV, & Covid-19 are spread via airborne particles begin to seriously to commit to schools with ongoing plans for indoor air quality improvement through legislation, investigations & investments. IAQ improvements can be made incremental through ongoing short term & long-term capital improvement funding.

Wearing a mask during the flu/covid seasons is also easy & cost effective.

@nilikm Yup. In the last month I’m hearing more and more from teachers, students, parents, even retired folks like myself getting sick, over and over again. I don’t leave home without my N95.
