Hadn’t really considered that Australian trees could be bonsais before I visited. Love coastal banksias and was amazed by how much the sense of the larger tree was contained in such a smaller space. Like concentrated trees.

The split trunk of this bonsai tree with its toes sinking into the mossy earth was eye catching.

@lizzie_g arboretum is a lovely spot to visit. And this little bit of it well worth checking out.
