Hello, #MedMastodon and #ScienceMastodon! I thought I would do an #introduction. I'm an MD/PhD student πŸ©ΊπŸ”¬ in biomedical #engineering studying heart rhythm disorders. πŸ«€βš‘οΈπŸŽ΅πŸŽΆπŸ’Š

I do a lot of #healthpolicy and #advocacy work, I love #teaching and #learning (I occasionally make educational figures/threads), and I enjoy having conversations with others.

In honor of my first post on #Mastodon, I'm including this happy little elephant I encountered at the St. Louis Zoo!

@DruvBhagavan Are you in St. Louis? I have a house there, but live in Tokyo. The zoo there is quite nice.

@douglerner I am in St. Louis! It's a great place to live. Forest Park (where the Zoo is) is in walking distance, and it's a great place to spend an afternoon.
