@MadhouseMuse what people don’t know is that the pandemic caused an increase in stroke because the pandemic created sedentary situation. People spent more time at home sitting or being sedentary; this allows blood clots to form and settle in the body, eventually sticking to each other to form, larger blood clots that can cause stroke. The prevention is to be active as much as possible..

@gilthinks Sorry but you're wrong. Studies have shown that Covid causes vascular disease. This is what is leading to blood clots, strokes, and heart attacks.

And for long Covid sufferers, exercise is contraindicated as it can worsen long Covid.

Here is a great article with links to all sorts of studies and research about what Covid does to the body.

@MadhouseMuse sorry but I am in the medical field and this is information that nonmedical people are not aware of. No offense.
@gilthinks Unless you're a virologist, epidemiologist, cardiologist, pulmonary specialist, vascular doctor or a research scientist working on SARS2, I think I'll stick with the medical research I've read rather than someone who "works in the medical field." What does that even mean...?! πŸ˜‚
