Mark BarrowHow wonderful.England’s rivers wont meet standards for good chemical health until 2063 they will contain toxic substances for decades. To think in September 2000 overall health of rivers was at 92% yet in 2022 they are at 14%. It is an absolute disgrace.

@JennyJones13 now through my underwater in rivers and documenting the pollution it is appalling. I've witnessed it many times and they are definitely not improving. If the green party ever require any underwater footage of pollution etc for campaigns drop me an email [email protected]

I have written to my MP (a Tory) expressing my concern over this - as part of an ongoing dialogue on the subject.
Clearly the Tories have caused and sought to justify criminal levels of damage to the environment - they should acknowledge this and apologise to the nation.

@annejefferson alot of is to do with environmental protections, some degraded but legislation is there in place but sadly just not adhered to.
