Holy crap this man has absolutely no sense of reality. “I’ll just make my own smartphone, and my own apps, and my own App Store”. Ask Microsoft how easy that is 😂

Elon Musk to make own phone if Apple boots Twitter from App Store

Elon Musk bought Twitter about one month ago and has made changes to the platform's content moderation. That could run afoul of Apple's rules.

@thelinuxEXP
It turns out that his employees at SpaceX were "managing" him and preventing his dumber ideas from being implemented.

I think what we're seeing at Twitter is what happens when he doesn't have employees managing him.

@tofugolem Apparently, when he worked at PayPal, one investor said that the company wouldn’t exist anymore if they had let him do his thing for 6 more months. The man is clearly incapable of understanding the intricacies of a company, he just runs along with meme ideas.

@thelinuxEXP
Just another spoiled brat born with a silver spoon in his mouth who never had to be affected by the consequences of his own decisions.

That stupid underground tunnel idea is starting to make more and more sense.

@tofugolem @thelinuxEXP But the tunnel was brilliant! It allows you to bypass the traffic jam on the surface by joining the traffic jam underground. Traffic has simply been solved. Investing in public transport to be able to build less car dependent communities? Nooo, Tesla car in tunnel go brrrr
@Rudtrack @tofugolem All of his own ideas have turned out to be terrible, the only companies he owns that do well are the ones he bought or don’t try to run personally 😅
@thelinuxEXP @Rudtrack @tofugolem that sounds like a perfect description of Trump as well
@milena @thelinuxEXP @Rudtrack
It describes a LOT of wealthy people, to be honest.
@thelinuxEXP @tofugolem

who's PayPal and that no name investor and who's Elon Musk ;)

Grow a pair and after you make Elon's billions come back here and i will believe your nonsense 100%

@Artan0n @tofugolem I can’t, my father doesn’t own an emerald mine to kickstart me buying companies and ousting their CEOs 😒

You should wipe your mouth though, there’s some Musk boot dirt around the upper lip.

@thelinuxEXP @Artan0n @tofugolem Looks like muskrats finally arrived here. Mastodon truly going mainstream! 😂
@PeterSoukup your a Taliban and not even know it. But now you know it 😙
@thelinuxEXP @tofugolem

Maybe there's a link between the fact his father has emerald mine and his son creating a friendly climate on a platform where everybody can express its opinion even if comes from a minority/majority or only 1 person

How many good things have come over time from only one person whether we talk about Pasteur/Einstein/Nikola Tesla/Niels Bohr/ and many many others that had only 1 voice and only 1 brain that changed everything.

Therefor there's a need for majority but even a majority can't afford cancelling God given personality types with their ups and downs.

And what if the current thing becomes not that current?

Can't you keep a healthy level of the good old grain of salt sense in your mind?

And if your majority is so well prepared to throw stones/potatoes and tomatoes into everything that doesn't fit your view who's the extremist then?

You can't fight extremism with extremism but with reasoning and arguments. Reason and arguments is the only working consensus algorithm. Also there is essential to not have any current thing at all like a glass of water where each individual with their own skills or passions can give whatever flavor feels suites best its own lemonade. But there are some that don't like lemonade at all and nothing and nobody has the right to cancel them.

@Artan0n @thelinuxEXP
You are really grasping at straws to defend that fascist.

He's been exposed as a fool, a narcissist, and a fascist, and whatever good he's accomplished came from employees actively suppressing his dumb ideas and managing him like he's a spoiled toddler.

And you're not using "reasoning," or you would have directly address the arguments that were made instead of a long "but what about" dance.

@thelinuxEXP @tofugolem He was ousted, because his idea of "growing the company" was giving out credit cards to literally anyone without any consideration whether the money would be paid back or not.

And he only had enough money to invest in the space because he sold a startup you never heard of to a company that doesn't exist anymore.
