#PSA - #Mastodon servers that have upgraded to the latest version (4.0.2) allow you to edit your posts. (This is available here on Snorklr).

Most mobile apps haven’t added this functionality yet, but the Toot! app for IOS was just updated, and now supports it. Hopefully Metatext will follow suit.

Are there any other apps/clients besides the web interface that support editing?

@clearing_fog
Can anyone tell me the best app to run mastadon for Android? Thx
@axeshun @clearing_fog I've tried Tusky and it's nice but ended up switching to the official Mastodon app on my Android phone... I like how the Mastodon app shows the "show new posts..." also if you poke around on the search tab you'll find something similar to the local/federated... I don't know it's a bit confusing still...
@axeshun @clearing_fog @hschroy
You might try Metatext.
I switched from the Mastodon app.
Also, I find browsers work best because you can view in Advanced mode and have 4 panels.
@Lynda @clearing_fog @hschroy I'm trying Tusky for now. It's much better than basic mstdn, but thank you for responding.
@axeshun @Lynda @clearing_fog having both tusky and mastodon running is interesting. They seem to give me different feeds...

Do you have an Android? I think I’ve seen Tusky recommended for them. I started with Mastodon, but had issues.
Then someone suggested Metatext for iOS and it was much better.
