#PSA - #Mastodon servers that have upgraded to the latest version (4.0.2) allow you to edit your posts. (This is available here on Snorklr).

Most mobile apps haven’t added this functionality yet, but the Toot! app for IOS was just updated, and now supports it. Hopefully Metatext will follow suit.

Are there any other apps/clients besides the web interface that support editing?

@clearing_fog @axeshun it's actually running better than when I was @ mastodon.social but I'm sure it's because there are so many ppl who joined that one so quickly.

Yeah, the load that server is under due to the huge influx of new users is definitely a big part of that.

We still have *plenty* of room to grow here. :-)

Yeah, I feel bad for the admins who are working their butts off to keep up with demand, but still have a bunch of people complaining to them.

I think everybody who has been a system admin / network admin can empathize with them.

I think people are under so much stress and they rely upon their networking.

One of the things that I have learned is: People will say something to you via a computer that they would never say to your face.

Does social.snorklr have a donation area or can you suggest a donation site??

We haven’t set anything up yet, but we will set one up and share it at some point in the near future. We’ve been focusing more on figuring out how to do all this, doing it all in our spare time, so haven’t really discussed the donations much yet.

1/ Go here to create an account on our server: https://social.snorklr.com/auth/sign_in

2/ Once signed in, create an "alias" so your old/existing account can point/migrate to it:
social.snorklr.com/auth/edit

3/ Log back in to your old server, ->account/account settings/move to different account, and follow the directions to redirect it to your new account.

Your followers will all migrate over, but your content won’t, and you will have to re-follow the people that you follow now.
