@gardeningwell Walls & fences moderate / mediate temperature & climate extremes. One-brick-thick serpentine, wiggly walls provide many #microclimate niches &, due to the form, is very stable & strong. I use this in the garden with rippled rebar mesh as sturdy bean & pea trellis. Also a fan of multi-function, coppiced food, fodder, #fiber, #fungal, #floral #hedges / #windbreaks. Rammed earth, too.
