‘Look! Lollipop!’ Poppy shouted.
I snatched it from her. ‘No - dirty! You can’t eat things off the ground!’
She started to cry, of course. I sighed and looked around. I could take her to the helter-skelter…
Then I realised the lollipop felt cool in my hand, rather than sticky. I held it up to the light and breathed in sharply. It was not a boiled sweet on the stick, but a green glass marble. And the bubbles suspended inside were darting about like tiny fireflies. #Promptodon

Teresa grinned beneath the cover of her full-immersion VR helmet, stocking-feet sliding on the wood floor as she unconsciously shifted and wobbled.

As a deity in "Universal Creator" she was teasing a new planet into being from the Nursery function- air, oceans, continents, creatures... her baby, almost ready for orbital placement!

Henri the chihuahua, sprawled nearby on the couch, raised his head and slowly blinked as his odd human began to chortle in the empty room.

The Seer could, well, see the Blue World. Only she was capable of such feat. And nobody believed her. The Blue World was approaching and would crash into her world. They could nos prevent that but they had the technology to flee. Some of them at least. If only she could make them believe her. That was the only chance for the people of Theia. But she knew they would not believe...
