@darrenshaw I'd love to read a shred of logical explanation on why are they trust random users rather than businesses, especially these having 20+ locations. There is nobody more motivated to keep info updated than such business...
@bartek i think it’s because there are millions of google business profiles, but only 5 to 10 percent are actually managed by the owners (I’m just guessing at the number here). They have to rely on community edits to keep them up to date.
@darrenshaw Ok, I completely understand the ghosted listings, but why not tweak algo to trust these profile owners that put effort into maintaining correct information? It's horrible how it works now and it has been like this for years.
