To all the #ungrading folks: if you had to implement ungrading in your course all over again, what would you do differently? #lessonsLearned #alternativeGrading
I would spend much more time explaining what #ungrading is and why #ungrading is a beneficial, more accurate, enjoyable, etc. system to traditional grading. The first semester I kind of just jumped into it without fully explaining #ungrading to my students.@kiknsr
@kiknsr Still thinking about this question. I would probably have some practice ungrading exercises before any actual ungading essays. For example:
"Name something simple you learned to do. It could be from college, high school, middle school, elementary school, or outside of school. Then, tell me why did you learn to do it? How did you learn to do it? When did you know that you learned to do it? And, how did learning that thing impact your life."
