shot in the dark: any fellow Denver-area people know about a knitting group (or a regular event like a weekly knit night) i could join? i feel like i need to find a local community of people i can hang out with for my mental health >_>

also it would mean i could stop getting all my supplies from KnitPicks, lol

Not sure if there are weekly knitting nights but both Fancy Tiger and the Lamb Shoppe are great places for supplies. I don't live in Denver but have made a point of stopping at both when I am in town.

@WorstedSkeins i looked at Lamb Shoppe earlier and saw that they have late hours on wednesdays tagged "Knit Night!" so that might be the thing i try first. i'll need to look at Fancy Tiger, i haven't checked them out yet!

@QuietMisdreavus The original owners of Fancy Tiger sold the store to employees who operate it as a cooperative. They have lovely stuff--yarn, fabric, notions. And they offer classes. Check out their website for inspiration! Lamb Shoppe has a larger yarn inventory. #Cooperatives #knitting
