Today is #DoctorWhoDay, the 59th anniversary of the greatest show in the universe!

I can think of nothing better to say about this show and how it has affected me than to quote Steven Moffat:

“When they made this particular hero, they didn't give him a gun, they gave him a screwdriver to fix things. They didn't give him a tank or a warship or an X-wing fighter, they gave him a call box from which you can call for help. And they didn't give him a superpower or pointy ears or a heat ray, they gave him an extra heart. They gave him two hearts. And that's an extraordinary thing; there will never come a time when we don't need a hero like the Doctor.”

TARDIS Guide · A complete guide to Doctor Who
@tardis What is this a chart of? All the doctors? I only recognise a few, but I am not a die-hard fan.
@WordsByJill @tardis it’s all the ‘known’ doctors, Hartnell being the official first one. Would love to have seen his granddaughter Susan have had her series as technically she was a time Lord too??
@WordsByJill @Shirl99 I’d love Susan to come back someday. They technically could do it, I don’t know why they haven’t. Maybe RTD has it up his sleeve…
@tardis @WordsByJill That would be cool, tho I’m guessing it would be a new actress as Susan would be 70ish now 🤔

@WordsByJill @Shirl99 well if she didn’t get killed by Daleks she could have just aged naturally and could meet the Doctor.

It would be amazing if the Doctor met up with her one last time before she dies, in some heroic feat which shows how much she has grown, then she regenerates and the newly regenerated Susan joins the Doctor in several stories, kinda like how they did with River ❤️

@tardis @WordsByJill sounds a good plot idea 😎
